Well, it's more like 4ft and it looks like a piece of shit, already getting brown in some parts. I knew it was too good to be true! But the OH wanted one in a pot, now he has one, trouble is I don't want it! It's leaning like a drunken sailor and it's needling all over the place. Word to the wise: never b*y an £8 tree!

I doubt it will last three days. And apparently you can't plant it in the garden. Oh well. Have decorated it.

Or b*y a fake one, which you can use year after year - but they still drop needles, and you have to find the storage space.

What's the point in getting one in a pot if you can't put it in the garden afterwards?! I had a quick look at Homebase's site yesterday and the potted ones are v expensive compared to the cut ones. (News to me given I've never b*ght a tree before, but makes sense I suppose.) I had been thinking it might be worth the extra if you could plant it afterwards... which I thought I read you could do... but now I'm C O N F U S E D!!
