Son and I were very glad to see The Tempest at The Old Vic, milkchocmonkey. Can't say I thought it was the best production we've seen (I have seen quite a few and son even more as he did it for A level English) but always enjoy going out to the theatre (especially when unexpected and free!). My son recognised the actor Edward Bennett who played Ferdinand as he was the much lauded Hamlet who had to step in for David Tennant last year. Really good of certain theatres to give away tickets if the place isn't heavily booked.
