I was lucky enough to see this a couple of weeks ago so I can't say much yet. What i can say is this film is awesome. The short film before it, La Luna was very good and very funny and a nice support act before the main feature.

Maybe it is because I am Scottish or I just love Pixar films but Brave was just prefect for my viewing pleasure. It is a wonderful story with lots of funny lines especially if you are Scottish. Also loved the soundtrack that went with it. And remember to stay for the tiny wee bit right at the end of the credits. A film to just sit back and enjoy the storytelling. Adults will love this as much as children.

Yes I have Brigadoon flashbacks even seeing the posters and trailer. I do hope first minister Shrek is reading this thread as I'd like to tell him where to stick his vote in 2014 :) although Nicola Sturgeon and Derek McKay are already up there

I was fortunate enough to catch this on Wednesday, as I have an interview with one of the directors and producers tomorrow. I have to say that this was not exactly a film I was terribly excited about. Gorgeous animation aside, it just didn't look like the kind of film I'd expect from Pixar.

And the truth is, it's not, but true to Pixar's abilities it is absolutely phenomenal. I'd guess it's almost certain to land in my top 3 of the year and I could easily see this getting a best pic nomination, which would be well deserved.
