In truth it is a love/hate thing. I love the more comfortable temperatures (at present!) and the fabulous tints and views, but the dark mornings and evenings are a pain and big spiders love coming into the house at this time of year. I read that this year there would be more daddy-long-legs and spiders because last year's wet autumn had provided ideal breeding conditions. Definitely not a good thing as far as I am concerned - there were too many of both anyway!

Sadistic I know but I laugh like mad when my daughter starts screaming about the spiders. Luckily enough she just calls on my son (Steve Irwin reincarnated) as he loves picking up all sorts of wildlife. YOu would think by now though that she would have learned that he will then chase her round the house til she almost cries!

And yes as a considerate mum I do just stand and laugh more as I really cannot understand why someone would be that bothered by spiders.

As you can see as we are now in September and Spider Season is in full force my house is a riot!

Just remembered one of the best things about Autumn is that the tubes/trains are now a bearable temperature instead of being like a sauna. Some days in the summer I swear I was actually melting on the tube!!!! :wall:

Snuggling up on the sofa under a duvet with a nice cup of tea and a good (i.e. bad) movie... Wearing all my favourite boots, rather than pumps. It's still not cold enough, but I can feel it coming!

Not looking forward to the freezing mornings though - even harder to get out of bed than usual :(

Erm, not sure, how does it show up? Presumably I just need to put it into my profile (which I will do)... but where does it show up for others? I've always wondered...
Not till January though - so really I should be looking forward to winter! I do get rather excited about my Birthday early on though...
