I had some homemade pancakes, but I was craving those American style ones (I can't get mine to taste the same way) so I confess that I went to burger king and got a few portions of their mini pancakes 
. Its about the only thing I like in BK, but its my guilty pleasure - if they weren't so little I could have taken them home and passed them off as mine

Kids have been reminding me frequently that Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday) is fast approaching. We go for the sweet variety, use a plain batter mixture, then whilst still warm add a couple of scoops of vanilla ice cream roll up, top with blue berries, raspberries, strawberries, sliced banana, drizzle with toffee sauce and dusted with icing sugar!!
