Typical Liam Neesom movie of today, loads of action different plot.

Eventually got to watch this at Wimbledon Odeon on Thursday. Not a good cinema experience. Lights went down only to be presented with Birdman, ironically the first words uttered by Michael Keaton were "what are you all doing here" which did raise a Laugh.
We were then instructed to move to screen 2. 100+ people scramble to the far end of the cinema in an attempt to regain their rightful seats in a different auditorium. To top it all they showed the entire film masked down to wide screen format (185:1) when it was clearly being projected in Cinemascope (235:1). Tried twice to get someone to open the masking to no avail.
The last projectionist has definitely left this cinema!!!

It was an odd thing, though personally the delay worked for me as I got to do a late well-needed chocolate run*.

apparently we were in with the actual Birdman viewers.... who cant have been happy with us charping out..

* meaning a sprint to pick up some chocolate from Morrisons.

Typical Liam Neeson film of late but then again I quite enjoy his movies so had nothing to be disappointed with. I had gone in thinking it was the Son that had killed the Ed Harris's Son so it made more sense after that.
Saying that being that Ed Harris knew that his son was a bad yin it was strange that he could not put things into perspective and see that Liam only shot him because it was going to be his son that was blasted. Then again there would have been no movie so theres your answer.

This was better than I thought it would be. Lots of good action scenes and a storyline with a bit more substance than predicted. Also was pretty impressed by some of the camera work.

7.5/10
