Just keep in mind that there are plenty of people in our situation. When it eventually happened to me and I sat in the refuge area when a faulty alarm caused issues, I just sat and waited it out. Was actually relieved I didn't need to charge down a million stairs.

That's a great idea about waiting in the refuge area. When I went back to the cinema the other day, that's what they advised me to do next time. He also understood that the chair is not suitable for certain kinds of disabilities.

Glad that you got reassurance about what to do if this should happen again, ClareBarr. And very relieved to hear that Vue took your comments onboard and have offered the solution of the refuge area which will
let you rest easier during future cinema visits. Especially glad that you will be able to continue to go to the cinema!

Glad to hear that you are now happy to know suitable arrangements in event of evacuation. Sometimes it is a mixture of ignorance and experience. I'm glad they've given you the opportunity to explain your needs and this has allayed your fears for a repeat. Hopefully you can find something nice to go and see using your vouchers!
