I know I am late to the party with suicide squad but will all the bad reviews I didn't make it a priority to watch. I watched this film last night and I must say I was so disappointed in the movie. I thought it was just ok at best. The music was overdone on the characters, the witch in the last battle was poor. The premise for this film was good but a poor storyline has let the movie down. I also couldn't stand Jared Leto's joker. The main positive from this film was Margot Robbie and Will Smiths portrayal of Harley Quinn and Deadshot. I was invested in the first act of the film but it soon started to fall apart.

Overall score 4.3/10

Agree with all the above. This should have been a film that I was going to lap up, a feast of baddies getting togeher in one film filled with explosions, wisecracks and sheer zaniness... Unfortunately it was a complete lame duck and I actually fell asleep for part of the second half, yet I have no interest in watching again to fill in the blank.

In a time where Im really starting to bore with Marvel's Iron Man obsessed enslaught of films, DC characters should be a welcome relief yet they continue to falter with this and the Batman films. Might just stick to the Marvel/Netflix tv shows which are streets ahead of any of the films.

The villains were very unbelievable and laughable. The Joker was ok but more of a mob rock star than a Joker. Nothing will beat the late Heath Ledger RIP
