No you weren't, the whole cinema seemed to get the joke here!

I love my twitter! Can't get enough of it and it is a breath of fresh air after facebook started letting any and everyone set up an account. With Twitter you can make your profile private so only people you know and approve can read your updates so you can actually police your followers.

I have found like-minded friends through shared interests or through friends of friends on there.

I tweet every day and it is great to be able to ready your random updates whilst away. A month spent travelling abroad reads so differently from what you remember once you get back home!

It is also great to put out note to self when out on the go without pen and paper lol

I guess even if you only use it for fast alerts as you would a RSS feed it still serves a useful purpose :)

I like using social networks to make new friends in far flung shores and have someone on my twitter that lives in the states spending a couple of days at mine next week which I think is great as I know I also have somewhere to stay when I go over there.

This list is fun, phunkygal, and it is even more fun when you start checking out who the 'famous' people are following (many of whom are not on the list). For example, if you click on Matthew Perry, you can see some of the other "Friends", but not the rest. Are they not "friends"? Or just not on twitter.

You could have a game to link people in the five degrees of separation based on who they are following (if you had time to spare/waste).

I also liked the way that Jane Fonda only has one film credited in this list!

I don't feel the need to follow any of them, I think if I was ever to follow anyone film-related it would be phunkygal herself!

I may be wrong, but I thought the joke hinged on the speculation that Kevin Spacey is gay?

From Wikipedia (my information source of choice):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Spacey#Personal_life

Spacey is unmarried and vehemently protects his private life, about which very little is known. This generated tabloid press rumors that he might be gay; however, Spacey has repeatedly denied them over the years, for example in Playboy (October 1999), in The Sunday Times Magazine (December 19, 1999) and implicitly in Gotham Magazine (May 2007). Moreover, April Winchell revealed, in broadcasts of her KFI show, on her web diary and several other websites, that she and Spacey dated for a while after high school, during a run of the musical Gypsy, and later went to New York together. She and Spacey have remained friends.

Between 1992 and 2000, Spacey discreetly dated Dianne Dreyer, script supervisor to Anthony Minghella, M. Night Shyamalan and Sydney Pollack.

Interestingly, this does not mention the rumours a few years ago, after he was mugged after going dog-walking on Clapham common at 4 in the morning ...

And as for the other two role models for Bruno ....

It doesn't really matter, does it? It was just a very "Bruno" remark.
