This is the email you get when you change a name which does not actually show new name and is automatically generated so I could even send one for myself

Re: An Education
Yes, it's weird, isn't it, but quite useful! As my e-mail address doesn't have my name on, it has occurred to me that if necessary, I could do my own "change of name" when someone else had given me tickets. This would avoid troubling that person but give me some reassurance in case of an ID check.

Re: An Education
I have just got a ticket for An Education at Whiteleys on the 25th for my German friend so she can see it while she is here, but I haven't got the email yet, which is a bit worrying as they are normally instant. Has anyone else got theirs yet? Thankfully I always print the ticket during the application process. Does Whiteleys ask for ID by any chance?

Re: An Education
I think I read that a forum member had been asked for ID at Whiteleys before. I have been a few times in the past and was never asked but that was quite a while ago, I haven't seen anything at Whiteleys for almost a year. I do find their staff can be a bit over the top though so I wouldn't be surprised.

Re: An Education
Some members have PM'd me previously and said that in some previews, they did some checks and people who came with those automatically generated emails had it rejected and were told, if it at least had your name on it blah blah. So when I do the change of name, I put the person's name in the subject box as it that is what it generates back. Although like I said, checks are quite rare and I guess it depends on who you have. Some don't even look at the paper!moondance wrote:This is the email you get when you change a name which does not actually show new name and is automatically generated so I could even send one for myself![]()

Re: An Education
I certainly wasn't expecting to watch lolita lite! lol.....I guess it's a nice change going to see a film and not knowing much about the film. I found it very watchable, because I was always wondering what will happen in the end, always fearing something dreadful happening, I thought maybe the relationship will get violent etc. I did keep me captivated....but the ending was quite disappointing. The main character had made some very valid points about the worthwhileness of going to university and getting an education, but the ending came across abit preachy and characters just disappeared conveniently.
A major highlight was watching the acting of Alfred Molina, he definitely had the best lines. 7/10 a good start to a busy film week!
