It was apparently a press screening, and we got an introduction, but the big screen 1 wasn't as full as it should have been - shame on all the people I asked to come with us tonight, and there were plenty! Asked the ususal suspects, asked colleagues, OH asked his garage mates... NADA. More fool them I say. Sat with phunkygal and said hi to a very lean looking MrGlass.
WOOHOO! Back to the Future on the big screen is frikkin' awesome! They have digitally remastered it or whatever the terminology is and it looks like it was shot yesterday! You see so much more when it's on the big screen, and this is a film with plenty going on in the background. The audience was very appreciative, I guess they had all seen this classic before. George McFly got a huge whoop and clapping when he finally socked Biff one, Marty got clapping for his rendition of "Johnny B Goode", and of course, the classic end line was met with applause: "Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads."
Oh, and on the way out they were distributing Marie Claires so I got one too now! Well actually three, as the OH took one too and then I noticed goody bags with them laying at the exit with a "Take one" sign. I know plenty of people for these, LOL.
9/10
P.S. Superhero, the film is roughly 2 hours long.
