aha, as far as I am aware, the bank says I have not been charged. you see, i took the precaution of emptying the account well before the payment date....a trick i learned from another FMUKer, i would add lol cant remember who it was now.

and thanks to you, Thrifties, they have basically changed the number of the card, so nothing can be taken further now.

Sorry, not trying to scare you; just aware of how wily these "agreements" can be and concur that no legitimate business should stoop so low. Others be warned - steer clear of these machiavellian entanglements!

have recently signed up for Tesco DVD rentals on a free trial (powered by Lovefilm) and I have to say this team is brilliant. fast turnaround times and lots of Bollywood films delivered for my mum.

All good so far.

ooh shit! i've totally forgotten to watch my lovefilm dvd let alone post it back, ive had it about 3 weeks! better get rid later! :O their service is good.... my ability to post things is still terrible though!

That's the beauty of this system, you can never be charged for late returns. But of course you are wasting your months fee if you hold onto to your dvd for that long!
