Looks like Beate and Gump are sharing the lead with 11 correct predictions so far, 3 ahead of second place C_T :) Who's updating the ticks? Good job!

Oh really, well done!

Is everyone doing their own ticks or is it you AYBG? :)

Most of you got both screen play awards correct, well done again. I thought that would be a tough guess but you film major film critics seem clicked (KK, SF, Celini, David etc) ;)

I am just reading 2 different live blogs! Havent got Sky. Sounds like Billy Crystal is a little far from his peak?

The Artist finally slides in for the best director. Usually an indication for Best picture...but nevermind that, who's leading the fmuk contest? :P

SH in the lead with an impressive 16 correct predictions while C_T creeps up behind with 15 :) C_T has been on a winning streak lately...will she do the Miss Piggy karate move on on SH...Hayaa!

Leaderboard (with 4 awards to go):

SH: 16
C_T: 15
Bonnybon, MarRoberPetty, AYBG: 14
KK, David: 13
Octopus, Yinster: 12
SF, Gump, Beate: 11

Update: awesome, best actor Dujardin. Never thought he would get it being a silent role. SH got this one too, so he maintains his lead over C_T!
Update 2: Merly streep. SH and C_T neck and neck with 17 each! One more to go...

That was a great oscar result overall. I dont think I have seen a more satisfying result. The Artist getting the top accolades while Hugo gets all the Visual and sound ones. Streep winning best actress. Its all fairly justified in my eyes.

I suspect who won but I dont wont to take away from AYBG announcing it...but I think the winner literally did a Miss Piggy move on SH ;) Thanks AYBG for all the ticks update, was more fun than the Oscars which was apparently dull :)

You set your alarms, you bolted out of bed and straight onto the computer...
It's what you've all been waiting for

...

The results

...

of the Oscar

...

PREDICTION GAME!

In ascending order,

steve9872 with 7 - I wouldn't have been displeased at all if they had gone with your picks!
elski with 8
annabrett with 9
silkmansam and MGellatly with 10
funthing29, andrews and jeancomp with 12
ansbro81, weirdfilms33, yogi and ejwrank with 13
Yinster and Octopus with 14
Celini, soonforgotten and David in high company with myself on 15
I believe this is the first time Beate hasn't been in the top two or three - she got 16, alongside bonnybon

and then there were five.

On a WHOPPING 17 points, I see a new face as well as a couple of familiar ones...
gump9452, kevinknapman and markrobertpetty!

And with a stunning 18 points, ittttt'ssss...

canadian_turtle! Massive congratulations!

Which means there's one left...

...

ALSO the winner with 18 points is superhero!
