I don't know, it just says you can't. We haven't got a garden anyway. There is a guy who rents Christmas trees which he later collects again to replant, they are quite expensive though: http://www.christmastreeman.co.uk

Gosh they are expensive! Love that his surname is Cake! Hahaha! We have a garden so I might replant it anyway if we get a potted one.

Oh I love real trees - even the needles. Unfortunately I can't have one at the moment as our cat tends to attack them - not sure why though but he goes absolutely mad at them. The last time we had a real one he climbed into it and tried to sit at the top and as you can imagine the tree promptly tipped over. I had dirt and decorations all over the place and I vowed never again until the cat has gone to that better place!

Off out tonight to the first Christmas do with the other half - it's his works do. So that's the first Christmas dinner I have to face this year. I'm glad I have no cooking or washing up tonight! :D

Oooh, hope you have a lovely time. We had ours on Tuesday though not particularly Christmassy - it was at an Indian restaurant. Good fun though. Got presents too. Oh, and my team won the Quiz! Woohoo (we had a boffin on our team, though we all helped!)!!!

Have fun andrews!

Sounds like a good night anakin! As long as you had fun it doesn't really matter where it was :)

I felt a bit blue last night :( it was my work christmas do that i was not invited to. Had to hear all about the delicious food and wonderful cocktails this morning. And how it was so lovely to see everyone outside of work and meet their partners... :(

Gosh - your colleagues are mean. How rotten not to invite you, and even worse to gloat about how nice it was....

That is so rubbish and tackless!!
I personally hope you have a fabulous christmas and a much better Christmas than the jerks you have the misfortune to work with!
Hope you have a fun night Andrews and you sound like you did anakin.

JMD I can't believe them! How awful. Chin up - you'll be somewhere better next year and will be part of it all. As Diane says, your family Christmas will be fab anyway, and frankly that's the one that counts!

Thanks ours was fine - not very christmassy, but it was more like dinner with friends, which is nice. I'm glad our team won the quiz! Shame there was no prize! Ha!
