Yay! Got an email this morning to say I got some tickets, but still don't know what I got! So getting up for 6am on Friday was not all in vain. :P

Have got the same email with that at the start but then near the end it states "Subject to successful payment you have been allocated the tickets below:" and lists what I have got.

2012 hopefuls miss out on tickets

Some 15,000 people who thought they had secured London 2012 Olympics tickets in the second round of sales have now been told they will not receive them.

The disappointed fans had been able to book seats for events which had already sold out because the booking website was not updated quickly enough.

I better count myself lucky then, I got the email today saying I got the tickets, but then again I applied for something that might not be too popular

Got 2 of the 3 sets I applied for and 1 of those was an athletics event...Not bad.

so excited! today i came home and found a booklet through my door on the front it says:
"london 2012 test event - london-surrey cycle classic"

and indeed confirms that the cycle path goes right by the end of my road, literally soooo close to my flat. i'm pretty excited, even if i'll only be here for the test run. i actually feel a little bit involved in the olympics!

(even though for that day i basically won't be able to drive anywhere nor get a bus anywhere and i'm not even sure about being able to walk into town but wooo hooo. i'm excited. hope it's not raining! it even says what time they will pass by so i can pop down and have a look :D
