Are you going to see them on their upcoming tour, jojojoanne? They are coming to Durham on 14th and 15th February, and I'm hoping to find a friend to go with me to see them.jojojoanne wrote:I love the Hairy Bikers!! They lost a fair bit of weight. I love watching (some) food programmes .. I used to like the Barefoot Contessa. I like Rachel Allen. She has a new series starting tomorrow, but I have soooooo many programmes I want to watch and I'm rarely able to watch them when they're actually on!! And no room on 'the Planner'!!

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
I watched a most idiosyncratic documentary called 'Double Take'. It's a montage of 1950s coffee adverts, scenes from The Birds, footage of old Soviet and American leaders at the height of the Cold War and of Hitchcock himself, using metaphors from his films to portray some of the Cold War, with an underlying narrative of a young Hitchcock meeting an older version of himself. It's strange, unconventional, complex, and subtle filmmaking - and I loved it.
