There was absolutely nothing on the box that I fancied watching, so I watched Star Trek XI (the most recent one). I wonder are there any more in the pipeline? Hope so! o/

I watched 'Away We Go' by Sam Mendes

I really enjoyed this, thought it was short and sweet! 8/10
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

Watching right now Singing in the Rain and wondering why I didn't watch it before, it's genius!! (I'm pretty sure I did with my parents but was too young to remember, and I never thought about it since then)

All time classic musical / comedy which never looks or feels dated - and inspiration of one of THE classic Morecambe and Wise sketches

And huge inspiration for The Artist too... almost feels like a pseudo-remake now.

What's funny is that I seem to know most of the songs and I have no idea where it comes from :p
(well, TV, cinema, adverts etc, obviously)

I watched Lawrence of Arabia at the cinema. Technically not last night, and it wasn't actually a night at all, but anyway. I absolutely loved every part of it, the visuals, the acting, the scale. I liked it so much I even wrote a little bit about it on my blog:

It was even more impressive as I had never seen it before!

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.
