Avengers Assemble
Re: Avengers Assemble
Good to know :)
Clark Gregg: No, no, no. I talked to Joss Whedon early on. I said “Hey, why is everyone saying this?” And he said, “Yeah, I’ve done that before. Don’t worry. You’re safe.”
Re: Avengers Assemble
Not going to go into it too much now as I'm just getting into bed but absolutely agree, this was awesome! I loved it! 9/10cinefila1 wrote:This was a real blast! It certainly lived up to all the hype. There were plenty of action scenes and it was genuinely funny, which was a real bonus.
Hahahaha, totally, that was hilarious. Also, when
Hulk punches Loki through the window and Loki turns around and screams, "Enough" startling Hulk and say "I am a God, you shall bow down to me... you are a creature" something across those lines and Hulk thrashes him until he can't move and walks off saying something about his position as "God".
- That was just the best part for me!steve9872 wrote:
It was a nice touch when right after Hulk and Thor finished battling the aliens, Hulk casually sideswiped Thor into a building.
Also, here is a picture of the 3D glasses they gave us to wear:

I know you wouldn't Deni and I completely agree with you, absolutely ridiculous after making it sound like security would be so tight!denichka wrote:@a_person, not that I would ever do it, but good to know ,thanks
Re guest list, nope, no guest list, just the SFF ticket. Having an SFF ticket apparently proved you are a comp winner. As the guy in the orange shirt collecting the print outs said "oh the Fcaebook thingy"![]()

Again, I don't mind at all, but I simply cannot find the logic in allocating the big screen to EH and being strict for that screening, but being totally chillaxed about AA and using a smaller screen![]()

And I am not even sure of the logic of as to why EH was even in the Sky superscreen!

Re: Avengers Assemble
Absolutely, The Hulk was an amazing character.
Only thing that bugged me was
how during the first half of the film, they showed that if Hulk loses his temper he will kill anyone and everyone and almost did with Thor and Black Widow but then very quickly, the next time he becomes Hulk during the final bit, he is able to control who he hits (ensuring it's always his enemy) and even recognises the others as his friends, saving Iron Man. Too quick of a change in character for my liking.
That is EXACTLY what I told my cousin after the movie. Almost word-for-word, in fact.a_person wrote:Absolutely, The Hulk was an amazing character.

I had that same conversation with funthing29 when we were leaving! Great minds think alike, I guess.

Re: Avengers Assemble
I nearly went into the Superscreen at the O2, they had a Sky girl checking tickets for the balcony but downstairs you could just walk in. Luckily thought I'd just check with security and they pointed me to screen 7. Nearly ended up watching Elfie Hopkins! The horror! In the end I'm glad it was a smaller screen, I've had a few bad 3D experiences at the Superscreen before, so screen 7 was just fine. And so happy they took the phones away. Well behaved audience, thankfully!
This was totally worth the trek to Greenwich. And worth the wait all these years! So good I wanted to cry. Perfect 10/10. I am so going to see this again next week.
A couple of unexpected cameos to mention... Harry Dean Stanton, always great to see him, and Jenny Agutter who I must admit didn't recognise at all.
