It really depends of the cinema & the film. I've been many times (around 50) in 6 different locations - only once "the cinema guy" checked my card & ticket using scanner. All other times - they just collected the ticket without even looking... But just in case - I'd recommend to have it on your mobile...

Here's a thought. The sun membership card is digital only and they usually tell you to leave your phone at home with blockbusters like GOTG. It kind of defeats the purpose of the membership card. However I've never been asked for it.

having a problem signing up to Sun plus, I get stuck on the Personal info page moving to Your address page...
