Thanks Diane65! Why not go in between the meet and ghost tour as meet finishes at 15:30 and ghost tour is at 17:45? It will only take less than10 minutes to walk up to it from the pub. Also if you fancy doing arthur's seat you could always do in the morning. Where you are staying it is a 30 to 40 minute walk to it. Not sure where you get the 8:30 opening as it is a hill so it is open 24/7. And then you can walk up the Royal Mile from Holyrood Palace to the meet.prettyxcool wrote:

The Camera Obscura opens at 10am and closes at 6pm. We would need 2 hours to make the most of it. So we could push back the meet to 12.30pm?
Is this too ambitious, I would also like to go up to Arthur's Seat depending on the weather? The park opens at 8.30am. How long does it take to climb up and back? Enough time to get back to The Camera Obscura by 10am? Otherwise, I may leave the Camera, as the park is free.

Since most guests will be around daytime, rather than morning, we should do the park in between...but then we have shorter time in the park. Personally, I prefer park in the morning but just throwing those factors to consider.
