If you have four spare going then I will take up on your offer. However if not then that's fine.

Anyone else fancy going to Camera Obscura in between the meet and the ghost tour? If so I can bring my tesco vouchers.

I am not sure if Diane65 has sorted out the itinerary yet for the morning or after the meet up, but the schedule so far as booked:

12noon-3.30pm - FMUK meet up - The Advocate

6pm - Ghost Tour - need to report 15 minutes beforehand. It lasts 90 minutes.

8.15pm - Yo! Sushi

Perhaps, Diane65 can post the timings on the first page, so it is easy to find. ;) Thanks Diane65!

The Camera Obscura opens at 10am and closes at 6pm. We would need 2 hours to make the most of it. So we could push back the meet to 12.30pm?

Is this too ambitious, I would also like to go up to Arthur's Seat depending on the weather? The park opens at 8.30am. How long does it take to climb up and back? Enough time to get back to The Camera Obscura by 10am? Otherwise, I may leave the Camera, as the park is free.

Why not go in between the meet and ghost tour as meet finishes at 15:30 and ghost tour is at 17:45? It will only take less than10 minutes to walk up to it from the pub. Also if you fancy doing arthur's seat you could always do in the morning. Where you are staying it is a 30 to 40 minute walk to it. Not sure where you get the 8:30 opening as it is a hill so it is open 24/7. And then you can walk up the Royal Mile from Holyrood Palace to the meet.

Thanks for that Yinster! o/

I thought it was within the Holyrood Park and that is the opening hours, may be it is just for the car park! :D

Yeah Arthur's seat is within holyrood park but the park is open to the public 24/7. You get joggers and dog walkers very early in the morning. You are probably right and the 08:30 refers to the car park.

Thanks Yinster for those options.

Yeah, lets do both! Park in the morning, then Camera Obscura (which I love and highly recommend too) in between meet and ghost tour.

I think if its a nice sunny day, the park will offer a lot of splendour including that volcano (of course its not active, ha)! The park would be a nice group explore/chill and picture opportunities.

Arthurs seat is a 40mins slow walk to The Advocate. (google walk estimates are always a slow walk assumption)

....on second thoughts....perhaps we should swap that around, as we are all about enjoying life for free or at low cost as possible, right? ;) Since most guests will be around daytime, rather than morning, we should do the park in between...but then we have shorter time in the park. Personally, I prefer park in the morning but just throwing those factors to consider.

I would prefer park in the morning too!
But the itinerary before and after the meet is a suggestion, so everyone, please do not feel you have to join in everything! You are free to do as much, or nothing or all as you wish! I am waiting for Diane65's suggested itinerary too!
Can't wait!
