Tilly: I think if you threaten to leave, you'll find they'll drop their prices. I did it a few weeks ago and they dropped them, but I had to sign up for 12 months.
Andrews: That sounds bloody ridiculous! There's no limit for usage on the internet. Tell them to p*** off.

Someone I know left Sky, ie no longer pays for it. He said that he as he still has a Sky box/dish, he can still access some of the channels.
I don't know what channels you watch, but if it's not Sports or MOVIES, maybe you could do the same?

Re: The Diary Room
There are a lot of free channels on sky, as a general rule of thumb, if its on Freesat then that's what you get with an expired sky subscription. You should keep the card as it has regional information on it for BBC1 and ITV and will allow reception of channels 4 & 5. (Channel 4 may be available anyway but 5 still needs a card.)Sunny Saver wrote:Tillytilly wrote: I might try that with sky sunny saver!

Re: The Diary Room
Wet,wet, wet - what happened to the summer. Glad to get home and dry.
Went to see the film Bluebeard tonight in the Cameo. Screened in the tiny dark room that they showed "The Notebook" in last night.
This was in French with subtitles. A rather unusual fllm which is centred round two sisters who read the story of bluebeard and the younger one imagines herself to be the last wife of Bluebeard with a twist to the ending. Not the best film I have seen but watchable.
Hope we get some sunny weather for the weekend - all this rain is depressing!

Come down to London, there's no rain here.

Re: The Diary Room
MM and Biggins, you might like to try a Senz umbrella - pricier, but supposed not to blow inside out and specially shaped to be more practical. I'd love one, but can't really justify b*ying another while my normal umbrella is still working well.

Umm, it's supposed to rain today, from around 10am, according to Metcheck. Better go to the 7.30am gym class thenBeate wrote:Come down to London, there's no rain here.
