My sentiments exactly, big hug from me!Sydney_Bristow wrote:Priamia
Absolutely awful scenario and I completely feel your frustration and upset. All I can say is try to be positive (easy to say, I know, and harder to do) and just put it down to experience. Remember what Helen Keller said: When one door of happiness closes another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.
So don't dwell on what happened this morning, look to the future and think yourself lucky for getting out of what may have been a crappy job (considering their obvious lack of common curtsey, decency and professionalism).
Wishing you all the luck in the world finding a job that you love!!

Re: The Diary Room
Totally agree with this, the knocks make you stronger.... and I like others think there is something better awaiting round the corner for you!TheyCallMeMrGlass wrote:Sorry to hear that Primia, but dont be disheartened, it may not seem obvious to you now but all this experience of getting knocks, just makes you mentally stronger. You seem to be determined girl, and you WILL get a job. Perserverence always conquors. Also, press the agency (firmly but not aggressively) to make up for their foul up (make them feel guilty even if it wasnt really their fault) and who knows this may turn out a blessing in disguise :)
You have to keep going!
You will get a job
Sending you the best of luck Priama

Re: The Diary Room
So did you have a good time, Beate? And did you get to the little cinema in Sandwich or the multiplex at Westwood Cross? You'd probably seen anything worth seeing anyway!
