The Cabin in the Woods scared me. I think that it is very possible that some rich people - rich and bored stiff would be willing to p*y any money to watch such a life show.
 Any way it wasn't the best movie ever and the end was just disappointing.

I also saw it at Odeon Covent Garden last night and thought it was excellent.

It has the way of disarming you just when you think it's getting predictable, and really lays to rest the usual teens in peril horror films. Far funnier than the trailer suggests too - a genuinely successful comedy/horror hybrid. Should be quite a cult hit.

Loved it.

James King (London Tonight) gave it 5/5

He said this film will cause discussion and debate between people.

He was also sold on the twist.
When the girl said I am not leaving without my friend and one of the nasties threw the gory severed head in - quite funny.
Saw this after sadly viewing the trailer twice in various cinemas. I thought it worked as both an effective piece of entertainment and a damning critique of the horror genre. It had very typical Whedon-style writing which I admired, though I did think the ending was throwaway - a sad ending to a film that had got absolutely everything right up until that point. I'd give it a 7/10, and my review will be released soon enough.

Am I the only person who thought it was the most disappointing film of the year? I was expecting so much after all of the hype, but felt so let down. The first half was watchable and it could have gone somewhere.....but in my opinion it went nowhere!
