Your lucky steve by 12.30 Diane65 will have walked us across most of London, (probably looking at shoes and cake shops) :D

Only 'looking' at cake shops. Now that would be disappointing.
I think that you know me better than that  Of course that won't happen that is to the just looking at the cakes not the walking all across London (that will happen) along with the looking at shoes (funny he should mention that as I could do with a new pair). He thinks that he wants a relaxing morning but it appears that I know his mind better than he does and know that deep down he'll love it ;)

So there are nearly 50 people attending so far, that is amazing if everyone shows.

We can certainly count the people who have b*ght train tickets already but apart from that a roll call only makes sense from a week or so before as we all know how plans change at the last minute, people become ill or have other things to do or their shifts get changed...

The tally so far is 55 people, and judging from events I have held in the past, the drop out rate is quite high, may be it is because it is a free event, but things do happen and plans do change at the last minute, so I am not too worried.

Unfortunately, my first choice of a venue, has to be booked a year in advance, and is a private area for up to 90 people, in a film related building! Perhaps, we can book for next time? My second choice is not open on a Saturday! Two others have availability, but I am negotiating for the best deal ...

A massive thanks from me too to prettyxcool for just being so fabulous and I'm really sorry if I have given you a much bigger task than I anticipated 8O I thought that it would be case of booking a couple of tables in a London bar :shifty: That would be brilliant if this could become an annual event but we'll have to make sure that the Scottish FMUKers can come :cross:
I must admit I'm happier now that all the cheap fares have come out and that we have managed to coordinate all arriving at roughly the same time, that's the Durham, Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester FMUKers ready for our pre meet up sight seeing tour.
