Does anyone know of any e-reader that is able to display 'right-to-left' script (like hebrew or arabic) in epub format?
I know most can display it in pdf format, but I'm hoping there is a device out there that can display it in epub aswell.

If the file is right to left shouldn't the ereader display it right to left? it won't convert/alter anything in the base text no matter what language or ebook format it is is, will it? (I'm probably being dense and missing something obvious though )

It might be an issue with the one file you tried then? Try asking the question in a specific forum for your ereader or the store you b*ght it :)

Jus read a brilliant book whilst on hols, think it's the type you'd either love or hate no inbetween. It was called The Glass Book Of Dream Eaters, by G. W. Dahlquist. Now I usally read either si/fi-fantasy or crime but occasionally go for something a bit different. This was different. It is set in a fictional steam/punk Victorian era. It's almost like a boys own story for adults with a bit of erotica thrown in, quite a bit of erotica. Sounds like one for Sydney. You need to get past the first couple of chapters and you'll either be hooked or give up on it. I don't want to give the story away so just give it a try.

On android phones, there is a brilliant pdf reader on the Android Market called EZPDFReader. It has the ability to change reading directions. If you have an android phone, download load this app...its also free.

Meanwhile, I am enjoying the goodreads.com website thanks to CanadianTurtle introducing me to it. I am caught up with a discussion group on Time Travel. Currently reading their book of the month, The Man Who Folded Himself. Should finish it in 2-3 days.

But I am still astounded at the rate Candian_Turtle is reading her books, I swear you are an android, girl!

Edit: I am sorry, I misread the post. Seems you are right Razam, I have 3 of the best ebook readers on my phone, none of which gives an option to change reading direction.

I was gifted a Kindle for my birthday at the end of Feb...... to date I have read about 28 books. My dad got one Oct last year and he has read 2.

And yes, I'm an android I am nearly finished with my 76th book this year. My goal was 100 books in 2011, but I think I need to up this to 125!
