Incendies
Wed 23 Feb 6.45pm

When twins Jeanne and Simon Marwan are left two envelopes as part of their mother’s will – one for the father they thought was dead and another for a brother they didn’t know existed - they begin to piece together a tragic story marked by war, hatred and the courage of an exceptional woman...
Based on the play by Lebanese-Canadian writer Wajdi Mouawad, staged last year in London under the English title Scorched, Incendies probes the open wounds of the Lebanese Civil War. The film stars Lubna Azabal, best known for her performance in political thriller Paradise Now, which won the 2006 Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film. As well as being Oscar nominated, it has been selected for 2010 Venice Film Festival, 2010 Toronto International Film Festival and 2011 Sundance Film Festival.

‘the story is so compelling and the production so beautifully controlled that we are gripped by the characters' quest right up to the shocking end of the story.’ Hollywood Reporter

Today's KGB deal for London:

£29.50
- Two adult BBQ rib dinners and two kids' meals at Bodean's BBQ (in Fulham)
(not valid on Good Friday or football match days)
- Four Vue cinema tickets (two adults, two children)
(not valid at Westfield, and only valid Monday-Thursday)

(the two parts of the deal do not have to be taken at the same time)

http://www.kgbdeals.co.uk/london/deals/ ... =dailydeal

I didn't go for this because a) I'm a vegetarian, and b) I don't have any kids! There are quite a few restrictions, but it might be useful for someone.
