Whatever happened to our Nineteen Sixty ..."there's people on the pitch, they think it's all over, it is now!"...Six form?

Interesting to see Prince Harry attending the match. Rumour has it that if he'd turned up ten minutes earlier with a pair of boots, they'd have given him a game!

We were lacklustre to say the least, couldn't even string decent passes together for the most part. Baahh!

I like when the commentator, as soon as the game finished, said enthusiastically (albeit with sarcasm) "Rejoice, England remain unbeaten!"

Did put a smile to my face, which I couldnt find for 90 mins...

....I just dont know what to make out this but England has come out of such rut in past World cups, I just hope they can do it again...I still believe in them

Given the Slovenia-USA score, the result didn't really matter. But morale will obviously be hurt, which might make some doubt whether we'll win the next game. Nevertheless, on a good day we're so much better than Slovenia, so I'm relatively unconcerned.

Interesting match between ivory coast and brazil. 3-1! I hope England play as well as brazil did today in Wednesday !

Disgraceful decision by the ref. Kaka's red should be recinded at once and given to the Ivory Coast. I accept that the second Brazil goal was twice hand-balled but blatant cheating in order to get a player sent off is just not cricket!

I did think the ivory coast player exagerated and put his hands on his face even though kaka never touched him!! Silly of kaka to have even nugded him with only 7 mins left.

I agree that there was hand ball from the brazilian player and that was twice!! Can't believe the referee asked him whether his hand touched the ball, was he expecting him to say of course i did!!!! But still would have been 2-1 regardless!

I thought that was a needlessly aggressive game, they were constantly pushing and shoving each other! Also, can someone explain to me the wisdom of changing players with 1 (ONE) minute to go?

it is also a way to run the clock, unless the ref thinks the player is taking their time on purpose. The time will not be added to extra time
