HR sent an email round that whoever is out of the office Wednesday afternoon to watch the England football game without having taken half day off (some people try to conceal it as a business meeting, LOL) will have to p*y £15 to charity. £30 have been pa*d already!

Ha Ha - At least they are honest!

I have booked a training day for all our staff and have now made arrangements for the trainer to finish the day by 2.00pm. I have convinced my boss that allowing us all to leave in time for kick-off is good for staff morale. I think we will all p*y for it on Thursday though.......

Well as France lost me £64 in the office sweepstake 4 years ago by not winning due to Zidane's stupid outburst, they've had it coming! I don't forget easily....

sorry, Beate, but I was really thrilled with Zidane's headbutt, considering that France had defeated Portugal. I just can't stand the French team.

After everything that happened behind the scene on the french camp, I did think that too! Guess better to play (even crap) than lose face.
I see Greece are playing tonight, should be interesting though am going to miss the england match tomorrow due to work :crying:

devestated i have no hols left to stick a half day in tomorrow! My hubby has a early 2.30pm finish.....but i won't get home till 5!
