Last night, I watched the 2010 remake of 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' and despite the mixed reviews, I really enjoyed it!

Jackie Earle Haley's portrayal of Freddy, I would suggest, is darker than Robert Englund's and many have criticised the film for the lack of humour. However, there's no complaints from me regarding this. As a general rule, I like my horror minus any comedic aspect!

Definitely not the worst way to spend 90 minutes!

The last episode of 'The Village' - series 2 underway - still don't like it - too austere and grim.

It is worth watching but I think it should have been longer than the 3 parts - there is no real back story and the ending was a little rushed....Great acting though throughout !
