It has come to the attention of the Promoter there has been a complaint regarding time codes being released ahead of schedule to the winner. After an investigation we now hold documentary evidence to show that the winner entered in accordance with the T&C’s, and at no point was anything released ahead of schedule by the Promoter or their agencies.

Congrats to him, but they didn't have to give me the codes in advance, just give him the tube codes. Period.

Well I'd be bitter if I were one of the ones further up the leaderboard that had worked so hard to get codes and then find out the winner had just been phoning up for them, even if it was after they'd been released. Especially as the Jane was so very close, unless she was ringing up too?

To be fair, if I had been participating in the game and thought of ringing up I would've done the same. I don't think that's cheating, it's being resourceful.

Head of london digital advertsing or something, I wouldn't know who to ring and if I did find out who then I very much doubt I'd get through to anyone, or get codes out of them, but the winner must have.

It looks like they don't have any T&Cs saying you can't do that so he's in the clear, as long as he didn't get them ahead of schedule that's all the organizers have stated.

I'm just glad I didn't lose a day's wages by taking the day off to stay near the top of the leaderboard yesterday. I had a feeling the ones at the top had found an extra way to get codes. I have lost £2 on having to b*y crappy Heat and Closer combo pack though.

I was trying to do the same! But didn't get that far.... as I had too much other things to do as well as work.

It was confirmed yesterday that Ronan Carr was the winner.

Thanks. I thought it was him, but then they took the leaderboard off and the discussion about the winner off too for further investigations! I thought he did very well too, to keep up in the top two all the time, and if he was resourceful and used every means possible, then well done to him! I came into the comp a bit late and was always 6 day behind him and then got penalised a few times as I put in the wrong codes. I was tricked several times by putting in zero when it was an O and then O when it was zero! I didn't think I would win, but I enjoyed the challenge to get up on to the leaderboard, and it was a bit of fun! A very ingenius and clever game.
