Well I left work early yesterday to cheer on England, so glad they are through. Rest of my office thought I was mad!! But knew that anyway. Gutted will not be able to watch tv on sunday as am out all day :( Will be in england tho so will find out soon enough if happy faces.

Was strange in Portugal when they were playing and funny seeing all the faces painted red and green. Knew they had not won/lost due to their re-action and felt very smug later when my view that it was a nil nil draw proved right.

Have to say tho Japan looked good tonight.

Hope you all enjoy the games whichever team you are supporting.

Maybe Scotland will get there sometime :cross:

Watch Germany v England live on the big screen – for free!


To celebrate England qualifying for the next stage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, ODEON are screening Sunday's Gemernay v England game at selected cinemas.

Forget crowded pubs with beer being spilled down your back, instead you can sit in your own seat (or stand and cheer!) while seeing every detail of the game on the big screen.

And better yet, it’s free for all the family! Just pop down to the cinema box office to pick up your tickets and enjoy.

Germany v England will be screening at the following cinemas:

ODEON Kingston
ODEON Liverpool One
ODEON Metrocentre
ODEON Southend
ODEON Telford
ODEON Trafford Centre
ODEON West End

I can't do this obviously as I would be cheering at all the wrong moments for my surrounding England supporters! :giggle:
