The Diary Room
Re: The Diary Room
A courier just tried to deliver a bunch of flowers to me. I was sceptical and asked him if he he had the right house number. Sure enough, they were for next door! How difficult can it be to read large numbers over the door?

How disappointing they weren't for you though!Ms Thrifty wrote:A courier just tried to deliver a bunch of flowers to me. I was sceptical and asked him if he he had the right house number. Sure enough, they were for next door! How difficult can it be to read large numbers over the door?
I can remember once about five years ago getting a wreath delivered to me - shocked the life out of me until I realised it was for my house number but the next road. Felt absolutely terrible for them.
Re: The Diary Room
Actually I wouldn't have wanted them - I'd have been thinking "Crumbs, now I'll have to find a vase and arrange them - as if I hadn't enough to do already!" But yes, a wreath would have been awful for all concerned.

Ladies, ladies, didn't your mothers ever tell you when you were young: 'If you keep washing your hair, it's going to fall out by the time you are 30!!!'Demerara wrote:Yikes!!!!!!!! I've washed my hair twice already with a sodium chloride shampoo!a_person wrote:Remember not to use Sodium Chloride shampoos though dem cos that's just gonna get rid of the keratin. I b*ght my shampoo from them there and then and it was £9.95 and I was like yeh yeh at the time as I was in a rush to get out and only realised afterwards £9.95 for a f*king shampoo!Argh when I think I pa*d a fortune for my rebonding!!
Is the shampoo a Kerastase one? I thought it'd be cheaper online so I just ordered mine for the same price! At least it's free delivery!

I am going as it's a best friends sister!Sunny Saver wrote: Is this another wedding as I thought you went to one last weekend, or was it just the haircut for the wedding then?! If it's another one, are you really invited or are you a 'Wedding Crasher'?I thought that film was soo funny, especially when they started crashing funerals!

Re: The Diary Room
You should have taken them and give to me! My mum would love them. When I left a job recently, the manager gave me a massive bunch of flowers worth well over £20.Ms Thrifty wrote:Actually I wouldn't have wanted them - I'd have been thinking "Crumbs, now I'll have to find a vase and arrange them - as if I hadn't enough to do already!" But yes, a wreath would have been awful for all concerned.
I felt so embarrased walking home with it as it took me ages to get myself onto the bus. My Mum then spent ages looking for a vase big enough to accommodate it!
