Re: Masterchef
How sorry did you feel for James, he looked like he was about to cry. That guest chef was so snobby, it was all about the presentation, glad Tim made it past!!
Uncomfortable viewing when they were slogging away for Merlin's cast, its become so much about time, think its all a bit unfair.

Re: Masterchef
i think the time constraints represent the reality of the situation for the most part. i imagine that the times they are given are what they would be for these kinds of situations for any other chef. I think that's a good thing to do because it gives the contestants a better understanding of where their strengths and weaknesses lay and how to better. they all say they want to do this for their profession so it makes sense to me to do it this way.

Re: Masterchef
I only watched it this week for the Merlin part, Bradley James (Prince Arthur) tweeted 'Propaganda on Masterchef last night as there was no mention of the piece of shell someone left in the risotto I almost chipped a tooth on' thought i would share it in here. I think the time restraint is a real eliment as what it would be like in a real situation. Hard on them to go from their normal work enviroment but good for them if they want to go on in the area after masterchef.
Re: Masterchef
Are we getting any closer to the final? I only want to watch that, can't be fused with the rest. It's turned into X Factor for cooks.

Its all about preparing them i suppose, i just never realised how tough catering could be.......tak about full on!! No wonder a lot of chefs are stressed.

The final won't be for aother few weeks yet. I think its like a cross between the X factor and the apprentice but without the treats.kobbing wrote:Are we getting any closer to the final? I only want to watch that, can't be fused with the rest. It's turned into X Factor for cooks.
