Saw in a half empty Glasgow Showcase. I must admit this film didn't really do it for me.
I couldn't work out if it was meant to be a comedy . . . I noticed a few lines which were verging to comedy but nothing which made me laugh.
I think it could have been re-named "Sanity not Guaranteed" 'cause that's how I felt at the end! :shifty:

decidedly average on the whole, but nice play on the 'Is he mental, or a Time Lord? angle all the way to the end and in that, I liked it enough. Somtimes films dont need all that and 7 psychopaths to make them watchable, but hey this film will never win a prize or Oscar or even get a wide release. And probably never an explanatory sequel, nuff said.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Saw this at the O2. I dont really know what I feel about this. Definitely average and its so hard to feel anything for the characters.
The machine was pretty cool. 6/10

Not unimpressed by this. I was expecting something weird and quirky but I found it dull. It lacked charm, was light on comedy and I didn't find the characters engaging. It was only 86 minutes but the pacing seemed all off, too meandering for most of the film then a sudden rush at the end. 5/10

Saw this in Sawnsea last night and also had the noisiest audience in a cinema for a while.
It was slow, gentle film and the I kept hoping that that the guy was not as mental as he appeared on screen.... Maybe the government men could have been used more to give more menace but that was all.
I liked this film, for myself, it was better than most I have seen lately.
Some of the conversations reminded me of my average day at work.

Saw this at the DenofGeek double film screening last night. They showed Safety Not Guaranteed first and I really enjoyed it. Nice to see some familiar TV faces and thought it had lovely funny moments and quick wit ala Juno.

The second film they showed was british/Irish horror/comedy Grabbers which was very funny and enjoyable. Was slightly distracted though as I had one of the Special Guests sat in front of me the whole time....none other than legendary Hollywood Director John Landis!!!!! My favourite all-time film is The Blues Brothers so was a bit excited and got to meet him at the end. Russell Tovey (from Being Human) was also there as he is in Grabbers and seemed like a pretty decent guy. Fantastic night and two great films

I thought it was good, maybe it should have ended a little more ambiguously, with the audience not sure if the machine worked or not. Quite enjoyed it anyway, Aubrey Plaza is quirky and Mark Duplass is very good.

I saw this at the Den of Geek screening last night and also really enjoyed it - I thought the comedy was offbeat and worked really well.
