Thanks for that.
Not a fan of sitting on the far left side of the O2's screen four rows from the front, thankfully it didn't hinder my enjoyment, but the lack of staff forcing empty seat movement was shocking.

Ditto; I really enjoyed my first freebie of 2013.

I'll be the first to give it a 10/10 even though my sister thought it was more of a 8.5/10.

My friend's insistence on b*ying popcorn meant that when we arrived at the O2, the cinema was packed and I was scurrying everywhere looking for seats (I'm sure people saw me!). So many people were saving seats for friends and so the only seats left were at the very front of the Super Screen (no idea how you can watch a film properly from that angle). Thankfully I found one a bit further back and my friend had to make do at the front (which he generally prefers anyway). Never waiting for him to get popcorn again when we're not early! Also not sure how to get to the balcony because at least each seat there must have a decent view?
I enjoyed this, maybe not quite as enthusiastically as others.

I had trouble finding a seat aswell. Screen was packed so ended up sitting in the second row!! Apart from that, really enjoyed the film. I would recommend it. 9/10.

It can be really helpful when others here have a preview before "mine"! I was already in two minds about this one (don't like violence and the trailer wasn't encouraging), so after reading all the above comments, I am even more doubtful about going.

Saw this last night at the showcase in M/c. Not my favorute cinema. It was about 90% full. Really enjoyed the film. It was brutally violent and sometimes gory. Good story, good acting and boy oh boy does Sean Penn play a good psycho.

First of all I don't really like "gangster" films and I really don't "do" bloody violence. I only went coz both the preceding appeal to Daddy Bill. I got a bit concerned about how long I'd be able to watch when sitting (eyes closed most of the time) through the first 5 minutes or so of really rather nasty violence. That being said, I actually really enjoyed this film as did he. I thought the main characters were a good mix and there were enough unexpected amusing wee one liners to laugh at to lighten the tone. There was at one point a bit tooooo much gunfire gone mad, but all in all it was a very watchable movie to start off the new year. 7/8 out of 10 from me. The cinema was jam packed and if the chap and his girlfriend who were in the row behind me with the crackly packets of sweets/popcorn read this, pleeeeeaaze leave the noisy wrappers behind next time!
Have a great 2013 everyone and hopefully see you all at more of the same in the coming months.
