Thanks to the lovely Rainey I won a comp to go to the premiere and 'walk the black carpet' right past Brad 'n Ange and Mireille Enos - though none of them acknowledged me unfortunately ;)

The cast came in for about 30 seconds before the film; Brad got a cheer for calling it World War Zed. Who knew that John Gordon Sinclair was in it, I presume he was one of the WHO scientists. Peter Capaldi turned up too.

We enjoyed the film though the ending was weak, I love special effects and especially the overhead large panoramas so it was the look rather than the plot for me.

Afterwards there were coaches to the Muse thing and reserved seats 8O
Preferred Cinemas :
Richmond, Kingston, West End, Wimbledon, Shepherds Bush, Clapham, Westfield, Fulham

My friend was one of the Assistant Directors on this so I'm looking forward to seeing it...unfortunately it's taking a bit of a hammering in the press today.

Well done on your win, I'm not jealous at all of all these FMUKers getting to see Brad in the flesh, honest! :shifty:

I loved it and am still swooning from Brad Pitt making an appearance at the screening. I kept speculating about whether or not he'd show up when we saw all the security but OH didn't think he would.... Happy he was wrong!! The film was very exciting and tons better than we expected it would be. A true on the edge of your seat film, although the audience was struggling to catch a breath!

9/10 (extra point for Brad showing up :D)

Film was really good, enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. Very tense with great special effects.

Wasn't too sure where to mention the Muse concert but that was a highlight as well for the weekend. Seen them quite a few times and Matt seemed to he having a blast on stage. Great hour long hit-filled set....shattered from it all but what a great weekend!

I actually enjoyed the ending, thought it was different, and therefore refreshing!

I've heard that too. Interested to know what that means. Might grab an e-book as well.
