Just seen this in Wandsworth. Was quite annoyed they made us wait 15 minutes as they weren't sure where they were screening the film but to make matters worse, when we walked in the film was already playing. It was a nice enough film with beautiful scenery. Clive owen was disappointing, not sure he can do emotion very well. 6/10

Saw this in Edinburgh tonight.

Screening was about 55% full.

Tried to complete the feedback form but it wouldn't let me! Seems to be an error as others have posted similar issues on their site.

I really enjoyed the film. i have only ever liked Clivce Owen in City of men so was a bit wary but i thought he played the part of the dad really well and the lack of emotion I think was the charachter and really helped you believe in him in the part.

i do agree that more scenery would have helped a bity and did think it was somewhat of a cliche to have a sunny Australia and a rainy England!

It was well done and I really thought benefitted from not being a Hollywood film - Hollywood glitz and galm would have spolied it.

A friend of mine went to the same screening.

She was there at 6.15, yet didn't go in until 6.50 by which time, as you said, the film had already started.

Apparently she told them this but she was told because a film was scheduled to start at 8.30 in that screen, they couldn't restart. Sounds pretty shabby to me

I was there too. Incredibly annoying that we were made to wait 20 mins (I was also there at 6:15) then the film was a good 10 mins in by the time we were allowed in. Thought of complaining to cinema staff, but decided it wasn't worth it. Good film though, quietly moving. A 7/10 for me. Looking forward to Ninja Assassin tomorrow, although it sounds a little ridiculous plot-wise!
Preferred cinemas:
Weekdays: Central London (all West End), West India Quay, Greenwich O2, Vue Islington
Weekends: Greenwich (O2, Odeon, PH), Vue Stratford City, Stratford PH

If you are talking about the free screening at Cineworld Haymarket it is on Thursday, not tomorrow.

I saw this in Wood Green last night. Seats really uncomfortable, and tops of heads restricted my vision of the bottom of the screen! A gentle film about coping with bereavement, relationship between father and sons (another budding child actor in the younger son), juggling housework, child care and work, so would strike a chord with most parents. Parts are a bit cliche, but nice Australian scenery. The kids had some great lines. 6/10

p.s. kept thinking the older son was Rupert Grint (Ron from Harry Potter)!

Me too! I'm another one at the dreadful Wandsworth screening. Did anyone find out why they started the film 10 mins before we were allowed in?

Anyway, a nice gentle film, with some good performances by the children. Clive was ok, its not really the sort of thing I usually see him in. 7/10

LOL, don't worry about nearly turning up a day early, our fearless leader AYBG once turned up a week early for a screening. I'll never let him live that one down. :giggle:
