that's why I refuse to go to Office Parties, ours was on Thursday, a dreadful James Bond Theme, so passe :X I chose to spend the time with lovely peeps at Treasure Island.

Anyway back on topic, everyone I know who saw Office Party really enjoyed it but you really hve to throw yourself into the mood xv

Yes you do have to put yourself in the mood for Office party. When I was there to see the show, I wanted to get some food at the bar next door and they were having the London Fetish fair

The Bootleg Beatles were fantastic last night, the set was pretty much the greatest hits collection, and they sounded spot on (apart from their Ringo who could do with a singing lesson or two). Shame the Apollo was all seated as most people just wanted to get up and dance!

aye Bootleg rocked. Early songs werent so crowd pleasing but then they were the weaker earlier years..once they moved onto the more muscular songwriting they got the crowd moving wild.

The venue was wrong for them though. Too spacious, it made them sound quite quiet, and too many seats. I was quite taken in by their self-deprecating comedy act too, haha!

They certainly are a good night out, but I'm not sure why they were all seating. usually at the Apollo the seats are taken up for gigs and that sort of show. So the comedy is still in then?

parody is a better word, although the jokes mainly focus on themselves and their being a tribute 70s band in 2011. A decent xmas opener, with maybe RoA to follow tommorrow. :)
