Re: TV Series: Discuss, Review, Anticipate, and Wotnot
I was pretty disappointed by the Game of Thrones finale. After last week's episode set up the story so nicely for a showdown, I was surprised so many plotlines were left hanging. It felt like they were deliberately leaving things open for a second series.

I was hugely disappointed by Game Of Thrones last night, I would rather last week was the finale as that was a shocker.
As for shadowline, I'm going to have to b*y it as I still have no idea what was happening

I must not read anymore as havent seen The Game of Thrones episode last night yet. Am worried that you're all not overly impressed..... I wanted it to be so good!
Valda, have you watched all the episodes of Shadow Line? The second to last one closes a few things up and then the final one seals the deal.... altho I was questioning it a lot after I finished watching it making sure I got it right lol!!

What I need to do is watch it without being on the internet. That is my problem, trying to multi task but shows like that need total concentration.Mesa7719 wrote:I must not read anymore as havent seen The Game of Thrones episode last night yet. BTW it's good to see yet another Fox, coming up in the world. They must be one of the most prestigious acting familes ever now.

Which Fox? Am I just being stoopid or missing something completely?valda wrote: BTW it's good to see yet another Fox, coming up in the world. They must be one of the most prestigious acting familes ever now.

Re: TV Series: Discuss, Review, Anticipate, and Wotnot
I thought the last episode of Game of Thrones was excellent and sets things up nicely for season 2. Was expecting a more fantasy element to the series but interesting to see that aspect finally make a proper appearance right at the end.

Re: TV Series: Discuss, Review, Anticipate, and Wotnot
About Game of Thrones - let's not forget the show is based on a book series, the author is producing the tv show and they are following the books quite closely. Season 1 covers book 1, season 2 will cover book 2 etc. The storylines that you think didn't get resolved simply didn't get resolved in book 1 either... Hell, some of the story lines don't get resolved even in book 4... For resolution/closure we might need to wait some 10 years. It took Martin almost 6 years to publish book 5. And he is supposed to write 2 more... The fandom can be cruel, if not realistic, and they are already speculating who will finish the books after Martin passes away some day (like The Wheel Of Time).
