Having just seen We need to talk about Kevin, should I bother reading the book?
Thought the film was better than expected and very well made...

I've been chosen to give 25 copies of How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff for World Book Night 2012! I had great fun with this last year so stoked my application was successful again.

Anyone else apply this year and hear back yet?

I didn't apply, but I got a book last year and was so pleased to be given one! A really great idea!

Congrats to the others who've been chosen! :D I can't wait for the World Book Night events leading up to the day, last year was so much fun! (but then last year I also volunteered for them and actually worked at the book publishing company behind it all for a bit which was amazing but having a full time job now I doubt I'll have time to do so again :( ).

There's no real way of checking for them, so yes.

However when you applied for the books you filled in an application and said who you wanted to give them too (for exasmple: hospitals, homeless people, your book club) so perhaps try to give some of them to whoever you said you'd give them?

My application was for homeless people and street musicians and if i have any left I'll randomly leave them on public transport :D
