Well done Diane!!
You might be losing next week too by waking a lot... always a good excuse :p

Today is exercise & paperwork day. Loads of things going on for the new 'school year', too many things and options to think about and no idea how to deal with them!

I'll feel better with a kind of 'Fish & Chips' lunch: grilled fish, fries, and blue cheese that I'm gonna heat a little bit. Probably grapes for dessert.
Break: let me think... something sweet?
Tonight: WW tomato soup & croutons to make up for the lunch :p

biggins wrote:Well done Diane - 2lbs lose is fantastic and it must be all that decorating. o/ Now when you go to Berlin you need not worry about gaining weight as you are well under target now. Just watch you don't keep losing weight as that would be bad for you. :nono:
Thank you and I do take on board what you're saying re losing much more - I'm embarrassed to say but being brutally honest (heart on sleeve honest) it does get addictive and in my heart I keep on thinking if I just lose another 3lbs I will be exactly X stone but then it would be if I lose another couple of lbs after then I will be under the X stone mark but my head is telling me that I have reached my goal so should stop but have goals like improving my fitness eg increasing my speed etc and just maintain my weight.

Biggins I do intend to try all the lovely food in Berlin and have no intention whatsoever to miss out on the lovely cakes ;) Thank you for looking out for me and I know that I'm lucky to have you as a friend o/ Good luck with your weigh in tomorrow o/

Hope you've had a productive day Octopus, I always think that even if you achieve one thing you have made progress hence a positive day :D

Good grief -- another 2 lbs lost, Diane! Will we be able to spot you when you come to London to do all our decorating and ironing? Well done and now I expect you to each lots of cakes in Berlin.

Thank you so much girls and I'm sure you'll recognise me with my iron and paint roller in hand ;) and I will be having cakes in Berlin :D

Menu of the day:
Fruit and Fibre with a black coffee (300 calories)
Ham salad wholemeal roll and 2 mandarins (300 calories)
Smoothie with a banana and strawberries (250 calories)
2 vegetable spring rolls (190 calories)
I know its a bit eclectic but using up whatever is in the fridge.

I'm having today as a rest day - I could pretend its because I have to get up at 3.30am tomorrow and I will be doing lots of walking in Berlin but the truth is I'm having my nails painted tonight and don't want to smudge them  :shifty: (anyone who works in a clinic and can't normally have painted nails will know what a treat it is)

Good luck today Biggins (soory I'm a day ahead) and I hope that everyone else is doing good. Have a fun day! o/

Of course you can join in. It has helped me to lose weight as everyone on here has given me great encouragement. Diane has reached her target weight and Preston has lost a lot of weight too. But we all have the days - or weeks - when it all goes wrong and the weight somehow manages to slide back up again so don't be dishearted when this happens just dust yourself down and be more determined the next week to do better.

You have lost a lot of weight already so keep us up to date with your progress and what you are eating and you'll get tips from others on here. o/

Thanks Biggins :) I've been good today and have gone to bed with 4 points to spare! I know I should be eating them all but for the last two weeks I have found myself going over a lot so thought I would try to be a bit more strict with myself!

I want pizza more than anything! argh!!!

Welcome on board and of course you can join as the lovely Biggins has already said. I don't know anything about Weight Watchers points so you will have to fill us in on that, I count calories, Biggins counts carbs and we all have our own ways of achieving our goals with a variety of ages and lifestyles. Everyone on here is lovely and supportive plus we have fun along the way o/ Well done on losing so much weight already.

Menu of the day:
2 slices of raisin bread and a black coffee (300 calories - a lot of that is the butter)
Lots of delicious German food for the next 3 days :D
Exercise will be lots of walking around Berlin :D

Be good everyone, take care and speak to you all on Sunday night :D

MrG my ripcords arrived yesterday so looking forward to having a go with them - still inner thighs need sorting (not as bad but more than anywhere else

Have a great time in Berlin Diane! o/ Have a big delicious cake for me.

I am very happy as I have weighed myself this morning and lost 3lbs. :D So that is the 2lbs that I put on last week and the 1lb I put on the week before! so back to square one almost! But this week is a lot of eating out - hubby's very special birthday so family meals and restaurant meals!!
So you see omgholly - we all have weeks where we go down but unfortunately I very often go up again!! :red: I have never tried W.W. but a lot of people do and are very successful so hope it works for you.

My brother and his wife were visiting us last night and they have both been on this new regime of almost starving for two days a week and both have lost 8lbs in the three weeks they have been on it. I know Preston was thinking of giving it a try but I couldn't starve myself for two days as I have to eat with my diabetes to keep my sugar levels up. (That is my excuse and I am sticking to it ;) ).
