Welcome back Preston and I hope that you had a fabulous holiday. We've all bounced back from our recent holidays with the lovely Biggins losing what she gained on her holidays plus another lb, you losing 4 of the 5lbs you put on and I had a weigh in yesterday and just stayed the same weight so the walking in Berlin equalled out all the goodies I ate when I was there and it was loads  :shifty:
I have just been to b*y some healthy food as I had nothing remotely fresh in - I did plenty of walking in Sheffield today and then went straight to the cinema and as I'm out every night this week it was the only chance of getting some food in.
Octopus I hope that there is more food on your menu of the day :cross:

Good morning everyone. Its amazing that as I have had 3 days of overeating and not always the healthy choice I still 3 days later don't feel good - I don't mean that I feel ill I just mean I feel like I've eaten a load of rubbish (the after Christmas feeling) but I'm sure with a healthy diet I will feel back to normal in a few days, one treat day a week is enough.

Menu of the day:
Smoothie with a large banana and strawberries (300 calories)
Ham salad sandwich, Weight Watchers lemon mousse (320 calories)
Jacket potato with cottage cheese and pineapple with a salad and an apple (500 calories as a large potato)
2 oatcakes at bedtime

It will be the exercise DVD today.

Looking forward to everyone's menus and good luck Preston with the weigh in o/ I'm going to weigh myself next week as I've stayed the same with overeating. I am still on a mission to lose some body fat and as MrG says I will still lose some weight but its the fat I'm after losing. Have a fun day.

Going swimming this morning as it is a lovely day but will have to be a quick dip as going out for lunch with some of the family. Have had granola and strawberries for breakfast and will have something light tonight (probably some scrambled eggs) as will have had too much at the pub lunch!

Your menu sounds lovely Diane and it is good that you can eat a bit more and still not pile on the weight. You are just feeling "guilty" having eaten different things while away on holiday and will soon be back to feeling fine with your healthly eating.

Thanks for all the welcome back messages. You are all lovely people. o/

Well I've just been weighed (for the second time today ;) ) but I still have that extra pound - the bike ride didn't shift it Biggins! :tears:

Still, I'm pretty happy with having just put a pound on overall considering what I've had to eat and drink in the 2 weeks since my last weighday. I'm well and trully out of holiday mode now and back on the waggon and raring to lose that pound again and some more as well.

I'm going to start that 2 day restricted calorie (600 cals per day for 2 days) thing that I talked about before my hols today and tomorrow. It sounds really faddy and is probably extremely bad for your health and quite difficult to stick to - but I'm going to give it a go.

I've not had anything to eat today yet - so I've still got two 200 calorie Tesco New Recipe Ultra Slim Meal Replacement drinks to look forward to today allong with a small 200 calorie pre bedtime salady snack affair, and then the same tomorrow.

:shifty: Sounds delicious doesn't it! ;) 8O I'ts not all bad news though - I've a choice of flavours ;) - strawberry or cafe latte

Well done to all those of you who have been losing weight while I've been away on holiday pigging myself. And......nice to see that we have picked up a few new and returning members on the WW thread too including the lovely Betty Boop who I used to frequently see at the cinema back in the days when I still went to watch films! :D

Preston I don't want to hear about you starving yourself :nono: I'm not having you making yourself poorly :tears: 1lb weight gain after a fabulous holiday is nothing.

We will both have lost something by next week - I'm still the same weight which I'm pleased about. I hope you've had a good swim Biggins and I copied the Oatcakes from you.

It wasn't! Had a mushroom/lettuce salad in the evening, with bread, pâté, two slices of saucisson, and some cheese + a strawberry salad :)

Today:
- strawberries + two slices of bread and butter + a tea
- a tuna sandwich
- lasagnas (had to find a quickly cooked meal tonight as I arrived around 9.30 in London and have a 9am-10.30pm day at work tomorrow!)

Tomorrow:
- croissant and tea
- a bacon and tomatoes sandwich + grapes
- no idea for the evening. Probably a salad or something... :/

Glad to be back in London, now the job hunt starts again... but I hope it won't stress me too much and won't lead me to eat like shit.

Loving the menus and you won't eat badly if we are here to support you.

Menu of the day:
Smoothie with a banana and strawberries (250 calories)
Ainsley's cup a soup with a slice of spelt bread and a weight watchers yoghurt (300 calories)
Jacket potato with cottage cheese and pineapple and a salad with another weight watchers yoghurt (450 calories)
2 oatcakes
I've cracked a tooth (next to my wisdom tooth) and have had a protective cover on it - I spent 1 and a half hours in the dentist chair yesterday hence a very sore mouth thus non chewy food. I have never had a problem with my teeth in my life and now 2 in 6 months 8O plus its going to cost me £400 as I want to save the tooth as it was fine until I cracked it :tears:

Exercise of the day:
Due to time factor it will be a 2 mile brisk walk before the cinema and then a couple of Spark people Ripcords exercises - I can't wait to try them out.

What is everyone else up to today? Have a fun day and I hope that all of you are keeping well. o/

Oh!! That's a double pain Diane - the pain from your tooth plus the pain of the cost of fixing it!! :noo:

Today's menu is granola and blueberries and a cup of tea for breakfast. I am going out for a pizza lunch today - using one of my Groupon deals that will expire soon if I don't use it. So will have a hard boiled egg chopped, cucumber, tomato and lettuce with a cup of tea before the cinema tonight. Two crispbreads and cup of tea before bed.

Not a lot of time for exercise but will walk to the cinema tonight - if it is not pouring rain. :cross:

Hope your tooth doesn't give you any more problems Diane.

How are you Preston? where is Clarebarr?

I was thinking that too Biggins - where is everyone? Hope you enjoyed your pizza

Thanks for asking about the tooth - my mouth is quite sore but I'm still managing to eat and with the help of ibuprofen I can function fine - I go back in 2 weeks so will be able to get it sorted properly then (the painful bit is done with o/ ). Need to get the hang of these Ripcords - I had a go at work but I haven't a clue what I'm doing but I'm sure if I watch the Spark people on line after the cinema I will master something :cross:

I'm here. At work, but here :p
Dinner was some wrap I b*ght at Tesco after borrowing £3 to a colleague as I couldnt find my wallet (hope it's home :cross: ) and some jaffacakes.
I have nothing for tomorrow as I couldn't b*y groceries. So.... :/

I hate when something goes wrong with teeth. The idea of someone puting their fingers in your mouth, and everything that follows... ewww.
I don't even know how I did to be brave enough and go to the dentist a few weeks ago. Hope I'll have enough space for my wisdom teeth. Good luck Diane, hope it won't be painful anymore.
