As a very late Christmas present my mum wants to take me to see Rush at the O2 in May. For those that have been there, is the fourth floor really that bad? I spent an hour trying to find other seats but the lower levels are extortionate, especially as they've sold out at ticketmaster. Any help would be very much appreciated :)

Level 4 are the high ones. You are in the roof and if you are right at the back (furtherest from the stage) you will only really see everything on the screens. Do not even think about it if vertigo may be a problem. The stairs are really steep and I would not recommend jigging about as you definitely think you will fall over the edge.

I thought as much! After all, it's a Rush concert! Concerning visibility, can you still see the entire stage?

It all depends on who you are seeing and what screens are used. I've seen The Killers and Take That from the top tiers. As they have a big set up, lots of things going on, its alright. Those sorts of performers have massive screens so you get to see a lot more.

I've heard of bands who haven't even had screens so literally all you see is ants wandering around. I always bring binoculars when I do stadia or arena gigs

My kids are at the Capital Jingle Bell Ball today and luckily are on level 1 but they have friends who are level 4. They just got a call from the friends to say that some poor woman was crawling down the stairs of level 4 and crying because she is scared of heights - really feel for her!!

The SFF tickets I got for Rod Stewart were level 4, directly opposite the stage, Rod & the rest of his performers looked like ants and his screen wasn't that big, so it wasn't all that clear, but the atmosphere and sound was good, and we still enjoyed the night. My mum found it hilarious that I was so stuck to my chair through fear of heights whilst she was up dancing! I did see another lady leave before the show started because she couldn't bear the height.

Going back to Christmas, my 'darling daughter' who has been Hello Kitty mad for the past couple of years, has just informed me, she doesn't like Hello Kitty anymore, its boring, and don't b*y her the dress I was going to from H&M........however what she doesn't know is I have a whole wardrobe stuffed full of Hello Kitty everything for her for Christmas!!!! Kids!!!

Well, I did just b*y tickets for Rush on the 25th may. Just realised now I have a chemistry module on the same day and a physics module two days later! :O that'll be a fun week haha
