We did get to see Diagon Alley (from the air though) and really they should have made more of an effort with that. We could have had a drive through or something. I don't think it was there for our benefit, but if it was it was wasted. Anyone got any ground-level pics of it?

In London though, we had to watch the footage until about 7.45pm. I hear other places had the film starting at 7pm which is fine.

I'm sad that it's all over

The red carpet thing was nice for about 10mins, after that it was just a drag.
I couldn't believe they had a clipboard with names, ID us and searched our bags! My friend and I had our Starbucks fraps with us and the security/searching bag guy was like 'I'm going to take this' and I thought nooooooo but he was joking

I was disappointed that Sky didn't give out the usual toffee popcorn

I thought the film was funny..there were many parts where I just had to giggle and my friend and I thought 'the kiss' was OTT but I agree with others that Harry/Hermione's kiss was better.
There was one 3D bit and it was silly to wear the glasses throughout the whole the film.
I think I preferred Part 1 more than Part 2, I expected a bit more action in Part 2. Overall, you have to watch the final end!

I can't wait for the whole set to come out on DVD or whatever and I just want to watch them all!

I loved everything on Thursday night with the exception of almost not getting in. I would have lost it big time if he'd not have let me in anyway. grrr.

i thought the red carpet stuff was amazing and i was especially happy to be say watching it from the comfort of a nice seat in a big cinema screen! i almost got a little bit teary hehe.

there were a few bits i wasn't too sure about in the film but over all thought it was amazing. i'm so so glad i went to the potterthon the other week!

i'm going to go and see this again asap!

Me too and i can't wait as its my first time at an opening night

We'll have a starry carpet with all the excited eyes of the fans seeing it for the first time, i'm sure there will be quite a buzz. Just got tickets today and the ticket seller suggested being there 45 mins beforehand, there is 5 of us going and i'd hate it if we didn't get seats together.

I am part of the 0.5% that doesn't know the story hence appreciate the spoilers
