We certainly did thanks and I'm afraid to say that it was me who had the largest cake (andrews didn't keep us on the straight and narrow) Andrews has trimmed down herself but has kept that a secret - she was trim anyway but just improved.
Can I say I cannot see how Preston can be overweight

Then it gets worse andrews had to head off to prepare a 3 course dinner so myself, my DD and Preston1990 ended up going for an all you can eat Chinese buffet before I headed off for my train home. So Biggins I know you didn't mean it but it may have come true

I've met andrews before and she has become a really good friend but it was the first time of meeting up with Preston. What a gentleman and he is as lovely in person as he is on the thread. Newcastle is a lovely city - my first visit plus we liked the University (which was what we had really gone for but had the added bonus of meeting up with 2 lovely friends).

Thank you so much ejwrank, Biggins and jojojoanne for your kindness and constant support.

A massive thank you to andrews and Preston for spending so much time with us today, we both had a wonderful day.

Back in London for a week and I start to eat like shit again
Despite the exercise, the WW meals and everything... I feel like I'm too greedy and losing control and I HATE THAT.

Weather is awful today will walk and get the Sunday newspapers and will see if I get out later. Plenty of housework to do and making a very large batch of lentil and bacon soup to freeze as it looks like winter is fast approaching.

That soup sounds lovely Biggins, i'm cooking dinner for a vegetarian lady today so am thinking of a nice piece of fish and new potatoes and some greens. Gonna have toast and egg for brekkie.

I really don't want to go out in that horrid weather but it might clear up later
