Not sure what to think of this but Sean Bean appears to be fine in the end after being punched and stabbed during a brawl defending his lady friend....problem with this story is the source is king of boll*cks, the Daily Mail but reported on E-online. Doesnt appear at all on BBC News.

He refused medication but hope he is well...in fact I hope this whole story is bullsh*t. E-online is making it a bit of a joke referring to his tough guy image in Game of Thrones. Not amusing to me, he could he could have bloody died.

Reacher, the character who is a former graduate of West Point, is described in the books as being 6'5" and weighing 18 stone. His official description on Child's website says:

First of all i read this as GIANT as in Jack and the Beanstalk giant. Secondly I strangely thought it was a giant robot.

However, I have read all the books, love the books, don't really have an image in mind of an actor, but be assured, Tom Cruise is not Jack REacher for so many reasons.

I really hate how this story is everywhere. It's on Yahoo's homepage now. The thing is that without reading beyond those few words there, it's pretty obvious and even saying that [spoiler]a character returns[/spoiler] is a spoiler in and of itself. I already knew about this, but if I hadn't I don't think I'd want that pressed upon me.
