Going out for dinner again tonight - it's that time of year when everyone wants to catch up. Not sure where we're going yet, but I will try to be as good as possible. I don't know about all of you, but I find it really hard to stick to the new healthy regime when faced with a restaurant menu.

Hope Skyfall's good - would be interested to hear if it lives up to the hype!

I'm with you with the nice restaurants and always feel its a shame not to have what you really want when you go out but then I end up going out far too much. Hope you enjoyed your Indian meal Biggins mine certainly had a kick to it but I loved it.

Good luck Preston with the weigh in - I will weigh myself again to make sure I've not started to gain :cross: What is everyone else up to? Hope you're all feeling well.

Menu of the day:
Fitnesse cereals (300 calories)
Garlic sausage salad sandwich followed by an apple (350 calories)
Belvita biscuits due to lack of time (220 calories) plus a cereal bar (120 calories)

It will be another rest day and I know that my menu is a bit rubbish but I'm going to see Sarah Millican with akh43 at Media City and we have to be there by 6 so only have 10 mins to get in get changed and be out hence I will be eating walking to the place. Let's hope MrG is not keeping his beady eyes on us otherwise I will be in the dog house.

ITS THE CARBS!!! Cut down on the sandwiches and eat more of other things in its place. More soup, more crackers, less pasta, potatoes and rice -( says the wise one who had a curry with rice and naan bread yesterday :noo: ) you and I both know what we do wrong Preston it is just that we are weak willed especially when it is easier to comply with other folk who want these foods when you are out with them. That's my excuse and I am sticking to it!! ;)

You are exercising more than I do with all that cycling so it must be what you are eating. But don't give up you'll get back on track again.

Been swimming this morning in the outdoor pool but not for very long as it started to rain heavily and I hate the cold rain soaking my hair and running down my back.

Don't want to put you off eating your Belvita biscuits Diane but just read a report in one of the newspapers that says that you are better with a HobNob biscuit as the Belvita biscuit has 4.7g of saturated fat and only 4.1g fibre per 100g while a HobNob biscuit is 2.3g of fat and 5.5g of fibre. :undecided:

I hope its a reward for all the healthy eating you've done for the week, right? ;)

I hope everyone is grooving, sorry for my long absence. I have a major undertaking for the next few weeks to qualify for a health and fitness certification to achieve a REP. Although I qualified as a PT trainer, I have to learn at least one new REP approved module every year to be on the accredition list which I had found out I dont qualify to be on yet. No big deal becuase I want to learn everything anyway.

I see newcomers on the thread, hope you all enjoying the journey of your own health and fitness journey and the tremendous support that everyone here gives each other o/ o/

A little personal achievment for me yesterday was I not only finally beat a very good squash player but I kind of destroyed him as my game has really improved lately and now move up a couple of ranks. My immediate goal is to climb to a the top box league of my local squash club, I wont reach there this year but early next year I will. Not hope. Will. Just as much as each and every one of you WILL reach YOUR desired goals.

Do you have a VR headset? If so, maybe we can play a physical sports game or even be sports/fitness partners, hit me up if you keen.
