Both OH and I enjoyed this. Not so happy with the woman in front of us who took the seats we wanted but the film was good. I don't understand a system where whoever is guardian of someone gets a $1,500/month commission for taking care of them - granted, care doesn't come cheap but this automatic and easy to get commission is just crying out for abuse of the system, isn't it, especially as there didn't seem to be any council control?

Saw this at the Cameo, Edinburgh this morning. Enjoyed the film as it was a more down to earth family life and a teenager who never speaks to anyone. The ending wasn't as expected either which was better in some ways than the usual "happy ending" with the wrestler winning every trophy. Paul Giamatti always plays a character that you feel sorry for and hope life turns out better for him. 7/10

Enjoyed this good sunday morning film very much. Glad to see the young lad got on okay in the end and happy that ending was more realistic. Loved Paul Giamatti's friend. Glad we were in the main Cameo Picture house too

Really enjoyed this, much better than i expected. Really witty and humorous at points, and more of an original story line than a lot of films that i've seen lately. 8/10 from me!

It painted a very desolate picture for elderly people and portrayed them as pawns to be abused for others gain although i think Giamatti was very ashamed at the end. Like MM thought Terry was a brilliant funny character who was obviously reliving his youth through the younger guys. Kyles methods for empowering the puny guy (Slen something??) were pure comedy.

One criticism would be the slown pace and the lack of a really juicy backstory for Cindy and Kyle.
Not enough hints as to what he went through when he stole that car or what had happened between them.
All in all a very human realistic story.

Didn't think this movie should have been a 15,
all it had in it was a few f words and a moon.
A few f words and a moon? I dare say most 15 year olds have seen or heard worse. Really this shouldn't make the decision for a rating, this was a very human story that deserves to be seen by any 15 year old.

Should those quotes not have been in a spoiler?? Never knew what a spoiler was until i began participating in this forum ;) . Now i do know i'll probably be spoiler happy for a bit :P

Would have rated this film 12A. Couldn't see any other reason that it was rated 15 apart from those observations
