I don't usually spot anachronistic goofs in period dramas but that 'Men aren't like buses. There won't be another one along in 10 minutes' line just now was so out of place and obviously years before anyone was ever likely to say that kind of thing. If I can spot that's wrong I can only imagine how annoyed the usual historical detail pedants are.

I spotted that too and thought the scriptwriters should be hanging their heads in shame.

courtesy of wikipedia:
Buses have been used on the streets of London since 1829, when George Shillibeer started operating his horse drawn omnibus service from Paddington to the city. In 1850 Thomas Tilling started horse bus services, and in 1855 the London General Omnibus Company or LGOC was founded to amalgamate and regulate the horse-drawn omnibus services then operating in London. LGOC began using motor omnibuses in 1902, and manufactured them itself from 1909. In 1904 Thomas Tilling started its first motor bus service. The last LGOC horse-drawn bus ran on 25 October 1911, although independent operators used them until 1914.....

though I doubt they run every 10min
Preferred Cinemas: Gate, Coronet, Odeon Kensington, Whiteleys, Vue Westfield, Shepherds Bush, The Lexi or any West End Cinema

As dull as it will make me sound I went to see a transport exhibition with the buses from the 1900's on show and they would be most fitting in a scene from Downton Abbey (obviously not for the aristocrats ;)).
I just loved watching this last night absolutely perfect (I won't say too much in case anyone is watching it on catch up).
