Sky started in 1982 (it's actually the 4th oldest TV channel in the UK. Older even than Channel 4 by several months). 21 Jump Street was a Fox show like The Simpsons so that makes sense that it was on Sky. Probably why I missed it, not having Sky myself at the time.

I watched a lot of 21 Jump Street in the 80s and yet I don't remember much more than Johnny Depp being clean-cut and shaven so I loved this version.

Anakin, sorry, would have been a longer meet if we hadn't been so late, then I needed to speak to Celini, then I needed the loo before it started, then I had to answer a text from a_person - we just about managed the voucher handover!

21 Jump Street it was not! it was more of a Police Academy meets... something else, maybe American Pie
Definitely not a huge fan of the juvenile humour, but I can see people liking it. And I know I am a minority here.

7/10
 I was actually surprised and glad it was not too much American Pie-ish with all sex and crap jokes!

edit: I was hungry and tired, maybe I didn't see everything :shifty:

It was shown on TF1 in France, on Wednesday afternoons and I remember fighting over the remote control with my older brother who could not give a s*it about my massive crush for Depp, DeLuise and Grieco (awwww!)

I've always loved the fact that one of the co-founders of Devo did the music for Rugrats, so I always smile when I see his name on film credits. His Wes Anderson stuff is fantastic.

Back from Glasgow Cineworld. Not completely full. What a fun bromance film with the twist of role reversal of high school. I don't remember much of the original series but kinda of guess the cameo roles. Some top class lines which had OH laughing pretty loudly and decent enough action. That car chase was original. Definitely couldn't guess who the supplier was so that is something. 8/10

OMG! How stupid do I feel? Am I the only one not to have known that this was a TV series from yonks ago? The penny has just dropped. I couldn't understand what was being meant by "original 80s series".

What a plum!
